Secure payment

At Apartamentos Anfiteatro, the security of your personal and banking data is a priority. Online payments are processed through Stripe, one of the most widely used payment platforms in the world, and are paid directly to the owner of the apartments, who provides the accommodation service. Bantour Sun Spain, S.L. manages the website and the bookings on the owner’s behalf and does not receive the payments.

1. When and how you pay

The total amount of the stay is paid online when you make the booking. After choosing the apartment, the dates and the rate, you are redirected to Stripe’s secure payment page. The booking is confirmed as soon as the payment is received.

2. Payment methods

• Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and others).
• Apple Pay and Google Pay, if your device and browser support them.
• Bizum, for customers with an account at a Spanish bank: the payment is confirmed in your bank’s app.
• PayPal and Link, Stripe’s payment wallet.
• Bank transfer, when there are at least 10 days until arrival. Stripe provides you with an IBAN and a payment reference; the dates are held for 2 days and the booking is confirmed when the amount is received.

The available payment methods are shown on the payment page and may depend on your country, device and the amount.

3. Data confidentiality (PCI-DSS)

Payment data are entered directly on the encrypted page of Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider, the highest level of security in the payment card industry. We have no access to your card number, CVV code or expiry date, and we do not store these data on our servers.

4. Strong authentication (SCA / 3D Secure)

The payment process complies with the European Payment Services Directive PSD2. Your bank may ask you to confirm the transaction in its mobile app, with your fingerprint or with a code received by SMS.

5. SSL/TLS encrypted connection

The entire website runs with an SSL/TLS security certificate. The data transmitted between your browser and our server are encrypted and protected from third parties. You can check this by the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.

6. Cancellations and refunds

If your rate allows it, you can cancel the booking yourself on your booking page; before you confirm, the amount that will be refunded is shown. In accordance with European anti-money laundering regulations, refunds are made automatically and exclusively to the same payment method used (the same card, the same PayPal or Bizum account, or the account from which the transfer was made). Depending on your bank, it may take 5 to 10 business days for the amount to appear in your account. The cancellation terms are described in the General booking terms.

7. Fraud prevention

To prevent fraudulent transactions, Stripe uses automated risk analysis systems. If a suspicious transaction is detected, the payment may be declined, or we may request additional documentation to verify the purchaser’s identity or cancel the booking with a full refund.

8. Security deposit

The security deposit of 150 € is not charged online: it is paid in cash on arrival and refunded on the day of departure, after the apartment has been inspected.
